Gospel singer, Tim Godfrey has appreciated his wife, Erica Katrina Godfrey. The singer who got married few months ago took to his official Instagram page to appreciate his woman for her love. Professing his love for her, Tim Godfrey stated that his wife makes him complete. “I love you baby!! Thank you for today! @ericakatrinagodfrey You make me feel complete!”. News recalls Tim Godfrey had showered love on his wife, Erica Katrina Godfrey as she clocked a new on May 29. The singer appreciated God for giving him such an incredible partner, best friend and wife, whose love was the greatest gift to his life. He prayed for God’s peace to reign in her heart always. “Lord, Thank you for sending me such an incredible partner, best friend and wife. Next to your Grace, her love is the greatest gift in my life. Baba Ijesha jailed 16 years

Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on Thursday sentenced a Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, to 16 years imprisonment. Baba Ijesha is facing six counts of child defilement that include indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault by penetration. The Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions, which proffered the charges against the actor, argued that the offences contravene Section 135, 137, 261, 202, 262 and 263 of the Lagos State Criminal Law 2015, which stipulates life imprisonment for offenders. Baba Ijesha pleaded not guilty to all the counts. However, a Closed-Circuit Television video recording detailing his relationship with the victim said to be a minor was played in court. Delivering the judgement, Justice Taiwo said that the prosecution failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant is guilty of all the charges against him. H

Koulibaly to Chelsea: Napoli defender set to sign in €40m five-year deal

Chelsea are closing in on the €40 million signing of Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly while continuing to pursue an agreement with Manchester City for Nathan Ake, according to sources. Thomas Tuchel's side are keen to strengthen their defensive options after Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen left the club on free transfers earlier in the summer, joining Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively. Chelsea have so far been thwarted in their attempts to land Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus, with the Netherlands centre-back preferring a move to Bayern Munich. Sources insist Chelsea have not given up hope on De Ligt but, for the time being, Chelsea are progressing with other targets and formal confirmation that Koulibaly has agreed to join from Napoli is expected in the coming days. Personal terms are set to be finalised on what has been described by sources as a "long-term contract." Reports elsewhere have suggested Koulibaly, 31, has been offered a five-year deal.
